Background Info

Born in Netherlands in 1975, he studied Industrial Design Engineering at Delft Technical University and Politecnico Milano. After graduating in 2003, he has worked for design consultancies and multinational companies, including Pezy Group, Dorel, Philips CE and Philips Innovation Lab, before relocating to Hong Kong and founding Beworth Designlab, an independent design and innovation consultancy serving clients such as Techtronics (Milwaukee/Ryobi brands), Nutkase, Oura and many others.

Focus of Work

Focused on innovation, culture, sustainable product design, ergonomics and industrial design from ideation through prototyping and manufacturing handover. Throughout his career, he has worked with international, multidisciplinary teams in both corporate and SME environments, leading projects and roadmaps as well as contributing as a team member. Aspiring to work in innovation for NGOs and purpose-driven companies focused on improving people’s lives and creating meaningful impact, particularly in fields such as disaster relief, alternative energy, drones, robotics, fields with significant potential to address global and local challenges (Philippines) in the coming decades.
